Incorporating robotics, ingenuity, and creativity, both campaigns gave Pittsburgh-based Deeplocal enormous presence on the global stage and promoted Pittsburgh as an innovation destination. Deeplocal’s projects have swept industry awards shows, winning a Webby, Print Magazine award, Cannes Titanium Lion, Andy, Clio, Most Contagious, and Top Campaign of the Decade from the One Club.

Most recently, Deeplocal poured its creative energies into Toyota’s Ideas for Good, a challenge that let anyone with a vision devise creative ideas to change that world, using pieces of the Prius’ innovative technologies. Deeplocal worked with Toyota to physically build out some of the best ideas that were submitted, including a solar-powered ventilation system for disaster relief tents. The team utilized solar panels from the Toyota Prius to power fans to cool the tents, which are often utilized in hot climates under devastating circumstances, such as in Haiti when the country was devastated by an earthquake.

Watch Deeplocal’s “Ideas for Good” video and be wowed by this company that calls Pittsburgh home!
