The Ellis School is an independent school dedicated to the education of young girls and women. Its admission ranges from age three to grade twelve, and each bracket is enrolled in small-sized classes tailored to best prepare them for education at university level. The Ellis school scores competitively higher on the SAT than most of Pittsburgh's other private and parochial schools, and all of its students go on to pursue a college degree.
