Seviche is a slice of Latin America hidden in downtown Pittsburgh: fresh tapas, island drinks and thumping salsa music set this joint apart from the usual pubs and cafes. It's self-named and main attraction is seviche, for which it has an open bar and specialty recipes like the fire and ice seviche. The drinks are unique and feature the Brazilian favorite, capirinha. It also offers a vegetarian and gluten-free menu. Reservations are recommended and customers can eat and chat at the high-top bar, or mingle on the dance floor.
“In Lawrenceville, there is a sense of community like no other. People volunteer to clean up and plant gardens, and everyone has each other’s back.”
