Sarah Heinz House is much more than an after-school program; it is a place for children to learn in a unique and personal way. The club provides children and teens with powerful role models and a safe, fun place to go after school, on weekends and during the summer. It is our honor to help mold these children into future citizens with educational, artistic, recreational and community service programs. Our goal is to promote healthy lifestyles in an environment that is nurturing yet challenging.
Sarah Heinz House is a charter member of Boys & Girls Clubs of America and has been serving its youth since 1901. It incorporates the scope and breadth of national programs and research with the local best practices and programs to bring the best of both worlds to its community.
The Sarah Heinz House literally offers something for everyone! With over 100 programs, every child has an opportunity to learn something new or develop an existing talent or interest. Lifelong friendships are formed here, new talents are discovered and personal growth flourishes. Through an emphasis on character building and leadership skills, great kids will grow into great people.
At the Sarah Heinz House, our mission is simple: To empower all youth, especially those that need us most, to LAUGH, LEARN & LEAD.
