Project Lead the Way

The nation’s leading provider of K-12 STEM programs.

Chevron has expanded its existing partnership with Project Lead the Way (PLTW) to build STEM programs in K-12 schools through curriculum resources, hands-on science learning and teacher training. Since 2013, Chevron has funded the launch of 10 programs in five school districts in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Through the Appalachia Partnership Initiative, Chevron expanded funding to support nearly 20 PLTW programs in Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio through 2014-2015. This expanded relationship in the Pittsburgh region builds on Chevron’s national partnership with PLTW, which has helped bring rigorous, project-based engineering curriculum to more than 80,000 students in 100 schools across seven states.
