Located just south of Downtown Pittsburgh, Mount Washington boasts some of the best scenic views in the city. In fact, USA Weekend Magazine named it one of the 10 most beautiful views in the country, and getting there is half the fun. Every year, millions of Pittsburghers and visitors alike hop on the Duquesne and Monongahela Inclines and take them up to Mount Washington from bustling Station Square. Once atop Mount Washington, visitors can walk along the charming streets and discover the remarkably beautiful neighborhood that hovers silently over the Downtown business district. Many of Pittsburgh's most elegant restaurants on "restaurant row" are in Mount Washington offering a stunning view to go along with their 5-star food. The neighborhood is also home to some of the city's best hotels which sit alongside the hillside, getting visitors as close to the Golden Triangle and shimmering Downtown as possible.
