The Community College of Allegheny County spans four campuses and four neighborhood centers throughout the Pittsburgh region to provide students with a quality education that is both convenient and affordable. The college offers 155 programs that lead to careers and further educational tracks, as well as athletics, social organizations, service clubs, honor societies and programs and more. CCAC is the largest provider of educational services in western Pennsylvania and also offers online courses and concentrations on workforce development. Its Center for Professional Development offers training in emerging industries, such as mechatronics, a field integrating mechanical and electronic components to manufacture industrial products and processes, along with Marcellus Shale Training and a Health Information Technology certificate.
