Baldwin borough is a large area of roughly 19,999 people, as according to census 2000. It is surrounded by many other Pittsburgh communities. Its motto is “just a nice place to live!” Baldwin is served by the Baldwin Borough Library, has four volunteer fire companies, an Emergency Medical Service, and a police force.
